For sale is a nearly new brandmotion GPS systme that sits on top of the dash in the package tray. I bought it new from Roush about a month ago not knowing the girlfriend got me an in dash all in one unit for Christmas(wondered why she was so mad). I paid like $500 new. I am asking $300 shipped. for others still interested, there is a seller on ebay selling these GPS units brand new for $245 shipped.

also note that there are different versions for 04-06 F150 and 07-08 F150 due to the AUX input jack on the dash tray on the 07-08 trucks. The 07-08 unit leaves a cutout for that jack, so if you try to install it in an 04-06, there will be a hole there.

 

For people with the AUX jack, you can always move it. I just used a connector to move it into the arm console, where I also added a 12V power adapter.

 

actually they are the same unit. they supply you with an extension for the jack and say you can mount ir wherever you want. and from what i hear the ones on ebay have the outdated software

 

I'm just going by what Brandmotion told me when I called them today about these units. They said there is hole cutout on the 07-08 version.

 

hmmmm they must of changed it recently........ i wasnt aware of that....like i said when i ordered it from roush there was only one option and the extension peice was included....at least it shows they are looking to constantly make improvements to their products

 

did yours have a hole in the top?

On the Brandmotion order page, you have to select between the two (based on having the mp3 aux jack or not).
