Official Gun Thread! (Pictures)
I dont have pics but my everyday carry is a Glock21sf Gen3 .45acp. I wont carry anything but a glock, yes I am biased but that is just me. Also have a Del-Ton AR with LOTS of goodies and other various hand guns and rifles. Working on building my ammo stock up. I think I will be adding a M1A to my collection here soon though. Decisions decisions!

No photos mostly because I am lazy but my aresenal probably won't impress anyway...
I currently have.
#1. Remmington 710 in .270 Winchester fitted with a BSA Contender, I believe it is a 6-24X54. Obnoxious huge magnification, with an also obnoxious huge lens... Good accuracy, great put down power. It has helped my old eyes drop deer where they stand instead of doing a stupid lung shot...
#2. Norinco (Chinese) SKS. I bought this thing in cosmoline when I was in college and 7.62x39mm ammo was cheap. It was one of my first guns so I am kind of hesitant to get rid of it although I do not like it much.
#3. Mossberg model 500. Real basic 12 gauge pump action shotgun. Drops the birds, and is reliable as all get out, why would I want anything more?
#4. Ruger 10-22. Old, just stinking old. Bought at a pawn shop long long ago for dirt squat money, it's mechanically solid, although it could sure use a new stock. Great plinking rifle...
Former possessions sold for funding, or just didn't like them purposes...
#1. Jennings J-22. What was I thinking when I bought it? Sold it to a gun dealer, and bought...
#2. Auto Ordinance M1911-A1 .45 ACP. Not a bad pistol, not a good one. Sold that one to a friend that helped me with my scope, and also hunt with him a lot. He since sold to a dealer...
#3. Taurus .38 special. Don't recall the model. It was a snub nose 5 shot revolver. Bought it for my ex. She shot it a couple times and left it in the closet. Sold it to a friend for his wife.
#4. F.E.G. don't recall the caliber, don't recall much about it other than it was an FEG made semi automatic. It shot nice, but ammo was some weird soviet style and super hard to get. Sold it to a collector.
I am kind of causually looking for good deals on...
#1. Ruger .45 ACP. I think it is the P89 but need to double check. A friend has one that I have shot and it is silky smooth and accurate.
#2. Remmington model 700 or 710 in 30_06. I know a lot of folks hate on the 710s, but I really like my .270. Just lose the little Bushnell scope and dial in a good scope on it, keep it clean. That composite stock is super easy to maintain!
#3. 20 ga Mossberg 500. Happy with the 12, but a 20 means longer shooting days for my old shoulders...
#4. Some flavor of black powder .50 cal... Something that will allow me to hunt muzzle loader seasons. LOTS of public land available with VERY few people hunting in black powder season...

I am fortunate that I only live about 90 minutes from where the U.S. National Rifle and Pistol matches are held every year at Camp Perry, near Sandusky or Port Clinton, Ohio.
During the matches, I took the Pistol Small Arms firing school conducted by the U.S. Army Marksmanship unit:

During the rifle phase, I took the advanced USMC Remington Bushmaster high power clinic. It is for experienced competitors. I compete in what is called "High Power" which is target shooting an AR-15 service rifle at 200, 300 and 600 yards with only iron sights and a sling for support.

We had to take an exam to pass:
