Question Wow! where are the off-road guys??????

Am I the only one out here who likes to get his truck dirty and show off a little "trophy" mud after a mountain run? I have been asking a question about a light bar in https://www.f150online.com/f150board...ML/000778.html so far no one! Please help me out here.

If you like to use your truck off-road than please post here.

thanks

I like to offroad except my truck isn't very well suited for it, so we always take my brother's jeep. I'm thinking about getting an older truck with a V8 and 4wd(probably chevy, sorry fellas). Pre-97 I think that chevys looked better.

I love to take my 98 4x4 flareside up in the mountains through jeep trails and deep mud pits. I have also taken my ford to The Glamis Sand Dunes in SoCal. I only had 200 miles on the odometer when i first took it 4wheeling. Following my friends in their jeeps through the mountains made my paintjob look like a testing ground for sandpaper, from the thick brush i encountered. My solution to this was to have the whole body sprayed with Rhino Lining, the bed liner product. It turned out great! I will have a pic of it online soon. I would also like to say that my truck has held up to everything i have put it through, and believe me i know how to push the limits. It stands up to the Built Tough slogan.

Rhino Lining sprayed to entire body of truck, custom built rear bumper, custom roll bar, 5 point harness seat belts, 33/12.50 super swamper TSL's, 5.4 motor, 3.73 gears.

Cool

Well it seems that all the F150 4x4 folks are from Texas. I'm out here in BFE San Angelo for a while but am in San Antonio almost every weekend.. I'm planning a trip to Big Bend as soon as I can get some time off though. Hey maybe Big bend could be where Y'all meet up next....... I 'm gonna ditch my Goodyears ASAP and get some decent tires
so far I've only wheeled a little here in dusty dry west Texas ( mud? um that would require some rain.....)

Regulator, you ought to come up to Ohio. We've got some ground gumbo that will eat you alive. Lost a boot last weekend. EArth sucked it right off my foot!lol There's some old quarries around too that make for good running. Real fun when it's dry, With the hills on each side, make a big dust bowl!
I just wanna try out my new tires!
