Race Runners- 1 line of shocks
FOA- 1 line, but you can upgrade to billet end caps, Viton seals ect..for higher temp rating ect..
King- has Pre-run and race series. Pre run series use your normal seals, and race use viton/ better internals.

IMO I would say Fox has the best shocks out there. Though thier rebuild kits are more $$$. Their resi's are a bit bigger=cooler running.

King..Been around the block..Rebuilds are cheap. Cant go wrong.

Race-runner.. look cool with new red caps and black shafts, new bodies as well. An awesome shock. Rebuilds are cheap.

FOA, Economy.. Mild off-road..for now.

Also, little tip..Shock oil....You basic no additive power steering fluid can be used to substitue..same stuff. Ha.

1. FOX
2. KING RACE SERIES
3. Race Runners
4. RADFLO
5. KING Pre-run series
6. Bilstien
7. FOA

But like i said..and 4.2 said.. big difference in going 80 over whoops and jumps, and sterrt/mild off-road. FOA will do just fine, and save you $$$. Still look good.
one thing that aggravated the hell out of me was that King would not change the color of the coils, of course you can powder coat them but that voids warranty. Just to have them change the color of the shock itself was a grand. FOA will do almost and variation you want, im not sure what everyone else goes by.

Either way any of the aboved mentioned above will be a great improvement.

I'm honestly back and forth between Fox and Race Runner for my truck.

The rear will probably be a 2.5" smooth body, I don't think I need the extra fluid capacity of a reservoir (as this is not a hard core off road truck). The front will probably be a 2.5" coilover with a reservoir since it has a bit more weight up there, and the shock length will be shorter than the rear (and thus, hold less fluid). I have a 6" Pro Comp lift and want to get rid of that darn spring spacer, and maybe even gain an extra inch or two. I was leaning towards the Race Runner because they are a bolt in affair, but I'd love the Fox shocks. The Fox fork on my mountain bike is amazing, I imagine their car stuff is good too.

i think i going to order a set of King (not sure which ones), but they seem to be the best bang for the buck and one of the most well known company beside FOX.

he sold that truck and did a a 4 link on his other f250 i think he's running 20" of lift and hes only running 40x15.5x22 but it looks good as hell, so i think your 40's will look good, i personally like the space between the tire and fender
