Seeking opinions Truetrac/front diff
Hi Guys,
Figured I'd post this here as most of you guys have real world experience vs a bench racer.
I'm tossing around the idea of putting a truetrac in the front to match the rear of my truck. I'm a little concerned how the truck will drive in snow and ice.
Can anyone offer any real world advice how they drive?
If you are making a turn on an icy road with little to no throttle will the truck want to break loose due to the inside tire fighting back?
Thanks

Even with your open front diff any time the front wheels are spinning you loose steering control. You need friction (traction) for the limited slip to differentiate when turning. On slippery roads it will be harder to do with your limited slip. I would leave the front diff open or get a selectable locker if were going to drive on the street.
