I'm pretty sure I can make it out on the 26th. Is there any way we could meet up somewhere on 54 though? I know some of you are meeting out at I4 and 301, but some of us are coming from the north or the west, and it would be WAY out of our way to meet out there. Does anyone know of a spot on 54 to meet so that we can all drive out there together?

Hey you guys, I was thinking if I get stuck about recovery strapping. I was thinking about picking up a few D rings at work, but for the rear could you put a D ring through a trailer ball receiver for a recovery point?

 

im sure you could, but i normally just flip the strap though the hitch and pull from there. Ive got to get a hitch put on my truck before we go so i have a pull spot. I also have a cheap tow hook that needs to be mounted too. (i dont want to spend too much money on hitch and hooks)

 

trimble, at work, we're clearancing out an older model class III Reese hitch for like $25. brand new. do you want me to pick one up for you, and you can pay me back when we meet up next week?

hey cecil i dont know were you guys will be out at rancho cuz i will be meeting you when i get there you all should be ther b4 i get out there i already saved your number in my phone but i dont know if you get service out there but if you happen to find the main hole thats were i normally end up its kinda like a small lake theres normally a bunch of ppl around it but its pass washout.........but im sure i will be able to find you just got to look for a couple fords together lol...and ill have at least one strap to pull someone out... but i will warn you all to check the depth b4 you go in cuz some holes look shallow but they do drop...
