Florida 7-26
I may try to make it, but $1300 in repairs made my kahonas shrivel up a little so if I do I probably won't be playing too much. I've only been there twice, so I wouldn't say I know all the trails yet, but I could probably get you back to the two big holes in the back. Here's some general directions as I don't think any maps have that on it (at least not that I know of).
From I-75:
Head East (A LONG WAYS) on State Rd 54;
You'll pass 301 (big intersection) and it's probably another couple miles on the right hand side.
There's no entrance sign or anything like that, but just a little dirt road. When you get on that dirt road head straight back (Lots of atv loop-de-loops). I don't exactly remember which way you go at the end of that main rd. This is going to sound like red-neck directions but take a rt at the "hot dog" stand (a little mobile hot dog vendor). From there you'll go continue on and it'll open up to become some grassy lands...there's a couple small holes around there, but nothing compared to the lakes in the back. Veer to the right and you'll go back into some "trail" looking stuff which has a creek bed in it. (when I went it was Dry as a bone, but with all the rain we've been having it may be fun to cross...). From there you just follow the main trail and it'll take you back to the two lakes.
Hopefully this may help some of you, but I'm sitting at work and trying to remember all these directions off the top of my head. Good luck and have fun...I'll try to make it out!

I might be interested in going. I live on the west end of 54 (near US 19) but it would only take me about 45 mins to get there.
I won't play in the deep mud, but I'm down for playing in the dirt.
And I've lived here for 25 years and I've never heard of this place. Do they have a website or something, or is it just a redneck hangout?

I'm looking at it in Google Maps, but I can't really tell what's what past where 54 and 98 meet. When I look at the street view all I see is a gated dirt road on the other side of 98 where 54 would continue if it kept going.

Here are the directions I got from where I am in tampa.
Fowler to 301, 301 to Chancey right on chancey. Chancey to 54 right on 54. 54 to the road on the right. The road is not a named road,so you need to look for the hillsbrough river small bridge crossing.Once across the small bridge look for the woods to open up on the right. When you see the woods open up look for the tree line on the right. At the tree line there should be a named road, right past the named road is the trail.Turn right, then go 20 min to the way, way, way back
So from I-75 take 54 East until you see Chancey (it's past 301), then start looking out for the little dirt road on the right. Hope this helps.

Roger that, I could easily make a trip to Tally!
I think I got it right. Hopefully someone who's been there can chime in. I started the directions from TIA since everyone knows where that is around here. If it ain't right, just edit it.

Is this the place?
I followed the dirt road in red, then circled the whole area. I see the 2 lakes that were mentioned in an earlier post. Am I close?

Is this place legal? I don't feel like getting my truck impounded. I've never heard of it.

To answer the leagalities of this place. It is owned by a multitude of different people. When you go there (especially on a Sat or Sun), you'll realize that it is for the most part "legal" to be there. No one will impound you, or give you a citation or anything like that. If they do, then they'll have to give the other 300 ATV's that are always there citations as well. It's a few hundred acres, and last I went there were so many people, that it seemed as if everything was legit about it.
I believe that map "tardman" has posted is pretty accurate. You can zoom in and follow the paths back to the lakes (I assume that's where you guys are goign to hang out). The creek bed should be fun if it's full of water as well (but there's alternative ways if it's too deep).
I get off work at 3:30 taht day and usually takes me about 45 min to get up there. Would you guys still be there around then? Still up in the air for me though, so don't count on me. If I do show though, I'll make sure to bring a cooler full of some fine anhueser busch products for you guys (I work at Busch Gardens and get free beer, so may as well spread the wealth).
