I will mention the trip to my buddies in my frat next time i see each of them, I'm sure some will come along. Lifted chevys, multiple Dodge cummins, a slew of F150s and a couple yotas. I'm sure someone is bound to wanna come. Could make it a pretty large trip.

I'm almost positive all 4 of my wheels turn at the same time. I almost got stuck again yesterday. Driving through a dry field when suddenly it started sinking and bogging down...i punched it and went WOT through some thick clay mud going like 6 inches per second and actually pulled through it, i cant believe i made it. There was a big F250 PSD with me, or else i would not have tried it lol. But all 4 were definitly slinging some mud. I do want a front locker eventually though when i get bigger tires.

I'm going to the ranch next weekend, if i can somehow find a trailer, i'll tow the '77 chevy down.

rent a trailer ! Its about $50 per day. Check out a local U-haul or something, they usually have em. We have a local Rental place where I live, we normally use their trailers.

And looks like we will have to do some truck pulls, find out if all four tires really do spin !

When your moving it will look as if all of em are throwing mud. And your rear is probably Limited slip, allowing both rear tires to spin when needed (in a nut shell). You got some pics of your rig Big50 ?

And yes, I am getting way stoked on this trip. The gears wont be in the truck this time around, but I am getting more Samurai parts today, will start bulding her back up this week !

So far: I have a lifted Nissan Pathfinder coming. A PSD pulling a Jeep (Dan), A Dodge 1500 Hemi pulling a Jeep wrangler, a lifted Dodge 1500 with solid front, and a little stocker wrangler on muds. All going for sure. Plenty more are "maybe".
They were definetly all spinning. In the video link below you can see mud being flung up by both tires when i'm stuck. It's hard to see but look closely. My buddy, who was watching, confirmed both fronts were spinning. Also, if you watch Josiah's video, when he is going up the hill both tires start spinning when he looses traction.

Here's some pix:

is his truck modded at all? You have a stock 4.6 with no gears, it'll be hard to beat him. But Josiah and I both have tuned 5.4s, i bet either of us could possibly give him a run.

Mine is tuned over at RPM (local dyno + custom tuner) come on now, give the little engine SOME credit ! Yes his is a stocker, but nice and new, and that thing flys ! He also isn't lifted, so has less rolling mass/resistance. Just one of yall beat him, it'll shut him up. He also has a very capable Jeep, so we can't let his ego get too big !

lol had no idea yours was dyno tuned. Yeah the lift doesnt help you much. Mine is stock height tho, should be somewhat even match for a stock Hemi i guess...who knows.

what kind of tune are you running? 87 or 91 performance?

91 all around performance (I don't let anything less touch the tank). I need to get back in there and get more tunes. They are a distributor for SCT and offer xCal II and III. I think I am going to go all out, and get three tunes. One Economy, one towing, and one all out performance. I also WASNT lifted when it got tuned... :o

I was in there, and talking just to get an idea, the guy offered to re-flash my computer with his tune and run it on the dyno before and after for $150.

I think he was just tryign to get me to want more, it worked and now am looking at closer to $600 for a complete custom tune set-up with an xCal. The tune I am running now imrpoved a lot, but still leaves something to be desired.

mSal: I didn't pay for the print out, but I think he was able to give me an extra 15-20 ponies to the rear tires (pretty quickly) and about the same on torque gains. I told him I wanted to keep it tame, and that more mods were on the way. I mainly wanted my shift points tightened up a bit. For the big $600 package, you get plenty of Dyno runs with printed graphs, so I will be able to show you when I get that done (planning sometime over summer, a ways away)

madmax: I can get down there whenever. Last night we were all talking about taking Friday off. Mark has 84 or so hours of Vacation time built up, Dan has plenty, and I work salary, so I am pretty sure we will get down there right around 1-2. We will have more coming later I am sure, not all of em can leave early.
