as far as i know there are no "kits" for this, but you can go to a ford parts house or parts website and buy the 97 F150 4x4 front valance(it is diff from the 2wd one) along with the tow hooks. it will be more pricey but thats the root i would go. good luck

i looked just now and it has a spot i could attach the tow hooks, but i would need to get the valence. i just wanna kno how to hook up the lines to the front if i get stuck somewhere and being pulled forward is the easiest way out. i was thinking i could wrap it around the frame through the little slot on the the bumper, but if i did it wrong, i could rip up the bumper.

you should have some tabs were you can put a toe hook! they have to be there! just in case your truck has to get put on a tow truck! ive seen the on little civics id hope your truck would have them! sould be right below your bumper... not sure what they are mounted too so dont go crazy on jerking on them!

the plastic piece below the metal bumper is what is known as a valance. while the truck's frame will have the spot for the tow hooks to bolt on to, the stock 2wd valance will not have the holes needed to accomodate the tow hooks, thus mandating the use of the 4WD version.

yeah, like he said. i know that i have the spots to mount some tow hooks and i might do that. i found some valences on ebay(thanks, grafix) and im debating if i will get one or not. the only time i would use them, though, is if i got run off the road or something. but if that did happen, r yall saying that i should just call a tow truck, or would it be OK to get somebody to pull me out if they offer to. thanks for the response everybody!

I had an 03 screw and there are holes to mount tow hooks on the frame, but you will need to buy a 4x4 lower valence or cut out holes in your valence for the hooks to stick out. I have taken the whole front valence off it is 4 bolts on each side I believe it's not hard to do by any means
