Rausch creek in NOVEMBER!!!
ok guys and gals, last year a bunch of us went to paragon an had an absolute blast! this year due to paragon issues, were planning on rausch creek. so were aiming for November 9th, 10th and 11th.
get there friday (when ever you want to really), wheel on sat, and head home sunday. atleast thats how we worked it at paragon.
and they do have "primative" camping onsite.
heres a link to the grounds http://www.rauschcreekoffroadpark.org/
so please, anybody willing to make the drive is more than welcome to join us!!
all we need is two vehicles to wheel, and we have that sofar...but its lots more fun with many more!!!
and for those worried about damage and scratches, i would doubt we would do more than green trails as stockers wouldnt be able to run them.

and heres the campsite 1muddy has for us
OK, I have one campsite for sure, which is pretty decent. It's called Campawhile. We stayed there early this year, and it was good. The facilities were nice, and the owners (who live on site) were very friendly. The only thing I didn't like as much was the lack of large group sites, or adjoining sites. I will call them to see if they can accomodate us.
There was another place I wanted to try called Echo Valley, but I had a friend who lives up there scout it out, and he couldn't find it. I'll try to get a hold of them, and have my friend try again.

I'm from South Jersey... wouldn't mind meeting up with some of the fellow f150online guys to do some wheeling or whatever.

Can't wait! The campsite we'll want to go to is Echo Valley Campground. I had a friend scout it out for us, and it's much nicer than Campawhile, and if the weather turns funny, they have cabins.

Just took note that you're in Delaware, so you're probably a little further from it then me.

Alrighty, assuming I can make it, how much should I be looking to spend for the campsite, food, other expenses (I would def. want to pitch in some money)?
I'm still interested, but I just gotta kinda figure everything out how things will run for the weekend to know for sure. If everything looks like I can do it, then I'll make sure to request off of work for it.

im almost positive that 100 will cover entering the park, the campsite, and food. gas on the otherhand...lol
when we did paragon, the campsite was like 15 per person, the park was like 35 or 45...an we spent brought bout $20 worth of food an such...but we just pitched in last year to make it easier...id like to do the same this year.
