This is something similar. Up here in the north country we drive our trucks on frozen lakes to go ice fishing. This particular picture is of a Super Duty that went through an ice crack sometime in March. It is on Lake of the Woods, on the Canadian border. I did not get to actually see the truck, but I do make it up there a couple times a year. Apparantly it is about a 1/2 mile out from any shore. The last I heard it was still out there waiting for a crane boat from Canada to come down and get it. I can only imagine the EPA fines. The ice blowing off the lake caused it to flip.

Think it is totalled? Good fishing structure!

I saw a few vehicles that flooded yesterday. I live in New Orleans and most people know that were all stupid. Why live anywhere thats underwater and expect it not to flood. Well yesterday we had about 3.5 inches of rain fall in an hour. So that with our below sea level city, and pumps that don't work, worked out to over 4 feet of water in some places. My truck barely made it home from work and then when I got home all the roads were closed because there were 4 or 5 cars completely flooded out. I had about 2 miles of water running up past the bottom of my door and some times as much as running on the hood of my truck. Luckily enough I made it through but i'd say I saw 50 75 cars totalled out. Sucks to drive a car

I was up in West Virginia a while back when the Kanawha river flooded its banks and washed up onto the roads of the town we were in. I could only laugh as I noticed a small Chevy floating in its parking space as we drove by in our 4x4 Expedition. We had no problems. Go Ford.
