A New Kind of Stuck...

This guy took it to the next level. While out fishing on Sunday we were coming back in the jetties and on the North side of the inlet we see this dumbasses truck. There's a sandbar that runs on the inside of the inlet on that north side that's only there during low tide. Obviously this guy didn't think about the high tide that was coming. Here's what he got.

I must say there was a VERY nice f150 out there that looked as if he wanted to pull him out, but it was waaaayyyyyy too far down the inlet. Even the tractor didn't try.

Now I wouldn't say a Ford owner wouldn't do this, but...lol...only a chebby.

Whenever a boat would go by (if it didn't stop to take pictures) you could see the wake break up over the bed of th truck, and the truck was rocking. Quite a site... Enjoy...

When I was younger, some buddies and I drove over to the east coast of Florida to do some surfing. The guy that drove parked his car a couple hundred feet from the waterline. After an hour or so of surfing, we noticed that the water was just starting to lap on his wheels. Needless to say, he paddled as fast as he could to shore, and was able to get his car farther away from the high-tide line. Close call!!!! That guy in the picture must not have been aware of the tide height and speed in which it rises on FL east coast! Pretty darn funny pictures! I wonder if that would now be considered a salvageable vessel under Florida marine law

yeah chum, the tide changes here are nothing compared to the east coast. sometimes it's as if we don't even have a change in height

I've been in water about that high before. My lift and tires gave me the clearance I needed to get through though. Not somethin I'd wanna do again but what a crazy night that was.
