Well took the truck out for the 1st time

I just went home for x-mass to pensacola fl and i also got a 98 4x4 f150 with 5.4 v8 full towing package and more for 3,000! Well i went to a huge new years cruise and WOW this truck really did great! It was a place called jones swamp and you have about a 1.5 mile ride just to get to the power lines where the big stuff is. Well on that 1.5 mile drive i had to go threw about 30 holes that were deep! I did good i had the water come over the hood and up to the bottom of the winsheld a few times falling in the bigger holes! I also pulled out a jeep wrangler then went threw the hole he go stuck in I just went threw all the holes really easy and didnt even have to gas it hard at all! But when i got out to the power lines trucks with 50" tires were getting stuck!!! So all i could do was watch!

How did you get water up over the hood and not suck it into the engine, or do something to your electrical? Also how do you have carpet in your truck or a rubber floor.
