Truck will not start

Hilarious! I just posted about spark plugs and after the suggestion of buying a lisle tool I found a used one close by...started the truck to go get it, put it in gear and the truck died.

2005 F150 5.4L
fuse 34 is good
12Vdc at the fuse
no sound from the fuel pump

Is it true:
that the Fuel Relay is not serviceable on an '05?
there is a TSB on the Fuel Pump Driver Module?

Thanks!

Hi.

Drop the spare, locate the FPDM, remove it from the frame crossmember and inspect it. If it even looks corroded in any way, replace it ASAP.

Several sources - MC @ dealer, local parts stores ( Dorman make a replacement unit )

How-To: https://www.f150online.com/forums/ar...placement.html

Ensure standoffs are used.

good luck

Looked at the FPDM and couldn't believe how corroded it was. Replaced it and now the truck runs, thanks!
