4x4 issure or normal?
Hey everyone before i get started i want to say Happy Thanksgiving to everyone and may you all have a great day! Now, before this truck i nor my dad owned a 4x4 truck before (weird living in michigan lol) but its a 02 supercrew 4x4 with a 5.4 automatichttp://images.ibsrv.net/ibsrv/res/src:http://www.f150online.com/get/forums...milies/fyi.gif. We recently rebuilt the transfer case because before it wouldnt engage, it now engages and works but lets say when you're stopped and try to accelerate the truck seems to struggle to get out of the spot on 4x4l i just want to know if that is normal or is it something to look int. Any feedback will be highly appreciated thanks everyone and have a good day! GO LIONS!http://images.ibsrv.net/ibsrv/res/sr...face-thumb.gif

Are you using 4x4 on dry pavement? If you are then you are binding the transfer case. The gears in the t-case are set up so that they turn both the front and rear wheels at the same speed when in 4x4. The front and rear wheels need to turn at different speeds and because they cannot they bind the t-case. On a slippery surface the wheels can slip and this overcomes the binding.
