Wheel mass is also a factor. The HD wheels are heavy.

So y'all, how much of a difference would there be between 4.10's and 4.30's?

My friend and coworker and fishing buddy who has a jeep with 4.10's and 33" tires says I should just keep the 3.55's. I think 4.30 gears would make for a more spirited truck and provide the best towing. Plus if I ever can afford a supercharger...

if you dont travel over 60mph much, then get the 4.30 gears. otherwise, go with 4.10's.

you should turn right around 2k rpms at 60 with the 4.30's and 31" tires.

That's not bad. I sometimes get to 65 but the highways here are mostly 60. My speeding days are long gone. lol
