Gear question: ratio, mpg, and two different axles
Just picked up a 92 F 150 4x4. 6in lift, 35's. Stock rear diff, up front is a solid Dana 44 from a 70's ford.
I believe the closest to stock ratio would be running 4.28. But the closest I found for the rear is 4.30 and the dana ive found 4.27. I know they have to be the same but would it matter if I ran 4.10 and 4.11?
Ive also read something saying a dana pinion gear set would fit the 8.8 rear end. Any validity to this?
Since about 4.28 would the stock ratio with the bigger tires, would 4.10 increase or decrease mpg? higher than 4.30?
When looking for a gear set for the Dana will any year do? Ive seen gear sets for 70's+ and a set for a jeep wrangler 07-12

Re-reading my initial post I realized it didnt make much sense. Ive since figured out somethings so ill write it simply so you can understand it easier.
I was thinking of dropping to 33's from 35's. But Ive read that some people with 33's and 3.73 gears loss the same as someone with 35's and 4.56 gears. any ideas on this? If thats true Id rather not spend the extra $800 on tires plus more for regearing.
With my current setup of a 6in lift and 35's, stock rear diff, and dana 44 front diff, would 4.10, 4.30, or 4.56 bring me the best mileage driving 55-70?
Also with a 4wd truck do I need reverse cut gears up front?
