2003 F-150 vs. F-150 Sport

I can't find anyone on this earth that knows the difference between the 2003 F-150 and the F-150 Sport. Any feedback would greatly help.

BTW, I have a 5 speed manual, and the XL package. I dunno if this helps...

Also, it's a V-6 4.2L engine. (Dunno if this helps either)

I'm pretty sure the sport was an optioned XL, I remember it having the power mirrors (or at least the same case), and usually painted bumpers and trim.

The sport came with body coloured painted bumpers as well. You could get a sport in xl and xlt but that was a grille difference, and the interior seat trim, same difference as reg xl and xlt. Pretty much it was the fact that the sport had nothing chrome except for the wheels.

Ahhh. I see. So no upgraded suspension? That's a shame. Oh well. It's still an F-150, the best truck ever made.

Nope, but if it's 2wd look to the Lightning for suspension either stock or aftermarket, there was a difference there.

nope, plain F150 with painted bumpers and 17" wheels

I'd still like to find a nice V8 Sport, but they are hard to come by

XL Sport package got the 3.55 axle, not LSD, 16 inch aluminum wheels, 40/60 bench in dark graphite unique material, Color keyed bumpers and grill with gray egg crate insert, Color keyed manual mirror caps, fog lamps and tach (4x4 only), 255/70 16 OWL all season ( all terrain for 4x4), Sport decal, Sport 4x4.

XLT Sport got the same except 17 inch wheels, option for the Captain seats, power mirrors, Gray mesh grill insert, and 275/60 17 all season and 267/70 17 all terrain for the 4x4.

The 4x4 XLs had black wheel moldings so I am not sure if they got color for the Sport option. The brochure is ambiguous.

Some years got a leather sheering wheel.
