New to the Forum and to Fords

My wife just bought a 1997 Ford F150 XLT 2WD pick up from her brother. This is the first Ford we have owned. (Been mostly Mopar & Jeep people, LOL)
How can we find out if this truck has a Posi traction rear end in it?
My brother-in-law has no idea, he didn't have it very long before he sold it to us.
Thanks.

Go on the door and look at the sticker. Use this and it will help.

Axle code says it is a H9 – 3.55 LS. (LS=Limited Slip / Traction Lok)

Thanks a lot, that was a fast answer. LOL
BTW this is a great looking forum, looking to learn a lot more.

Thanks.
my old 97 xlt didn't have one. and it was 4x4. so i doubt the 2wd would. go light the tires up...if it kicks sideways...then you'r good. is the a truck a v8 or v6?

Here are a couple of photos of her truck.
It used to be a white truck, her brother painted it a strange looking copper color. LOL
