4.10 or 4.30 gear swap ?'s

I have an 05 SCrew 4x2 with 4.6l V8 and 305/40r22's what gears are the best to get? I don't do much Highways driving. When I do, it's to Florida and Tennessee when I can. Any comments would be great. Where's the cheapest place to get them and the bearings since I have 50,000 miles on my truck

4.30's because you've got a SCrew around that 281.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking too. Takes alot of peddle right now to get off the line, it sucks having a N/A 4.6. I'm hoping to get an SKS turbo within the next year or so.

430s isnt going to kill your mileage with 22s. The RPM's is what gets you, but thats what overdrive is for.

I have 4.10's on my truck w/ 285 35 22. I think the setup is perfect with the supercharger. If you do not run a supercharger/turbo, I would go with the 4.30's. I do notice with my setup that the rpms are pretty high at 70mph. If you want more off the bottem end, definately go with the 4.30's.

My guess would just be lower RPM's, but 4:30s would be better for low end for sure. I dont see there being that much of a difference between 410s and 430s as far as rpms go. I have 35s and 4:56s, and my rpms are right around 2400 at 75mph.

I dont have any numbers or anything, but I can tell you that much truck is WAY quicker off the line with the 4:56s! And thats talking before the procharger.

I will have 60' times in about 4 weeks. I honestly did not notice that much of a difference on the bottom end with the 4.10 swap vs. the stock 3.55. The 4.30's will definately help out the bottom end. I also have 4.56's waiting to go in my 02 screw. I can't wait for that swap.
