Gear ratio calculator, opinions?

OK, I used this gear ratio calculator. Stock, I had 265-70-17's. Now have 315-75-16's.
http://www.4lo.com/calc/geartire.htm

Using this calculator, my effective gear ratio stock is 3.22:1
To get me back to a stock feel, I should probably look at 4.10's

I heard same thing from the place where I may get my gear swap done. I don't tow anything, just want to get some ***** back in my truck.
What do you guys think? I had originally planned on going with 4.56:1 Thanks, jumpn

4.10's should be good enough - if you now have 3.55's.
