What gear company to go with?

I need to do my gears, 4.56. Just dont know what companies gears to go with. Anyone have and good and bad stories. Have an 03 4wd 6 inch lift 315/71-16.

8.8 front dont know the splines

9.75 rear I know its 34 splines but do I have short or long gears? I ask because precision gear asked.

I have Ford Racing Performance Parts. Opinions vary. But I figure that Ford parts going into a Ford can't be all that bad.

Check w/ Randy's Ring & Pinion or AmericanTrucks.com. They should be able to steer you in the right direction.

yukon gears are best IMO, amount of splines has nothing to do with the gears i dont even know why they ask, you need reverse cut gears for the front 8.8, as for short or long gears i have never head that term before lol

I have the Yukon 4.10s in the rear (2wd), got them from East Coast Gear Supply here in Durham, NC. No complaints.

Yukon and Precision are excellent brands. Check out Randys ring and pinion online

Been running Yukon 4.56's for over a year now with zero issues. Would recommend them to anyone.
