well.....

shop called... the truck doesn't like the new module they installed, and doesn't even register with the truck that its been installed. This will make the 5th day it has been in the shop for this round at it. And a total of about 9 or 10 days with all the other times it has been in... :/

Good news! I test drove a tacoma today! I love it! Granted, I can tell it doesn't have that 5.4L V8, nor that roar I hear everytime I crank my F150, but it drove it really nice and handles really good too. So we'll see what happens here I guess.

That sounds like a really bad lemon! You are 6'5" and you want a Taco?

Everything handles nice when its new

Honestly I think the Tacomas are a good looking truck, and it'll last forever (unless its from the frame rot years), but I've seen a lot of new Tacomas that have a lot of interior noise issues after a few thousand miles(ie. squeaks, rattles, ect.)

yeah.... I do want a taco - even tho im 6'5"... lol... But the one I drove was a double cab long bed so I fit in it nicely, but its definitely smaller than my f150. Another option I was looking at was a Silverado z71... I test drove the GM Sierra last year before I bought the F150, and I liked the 150 better, but I would still like to drive a Chevy - even tho its essentially the same truck as the GM. But ya, I really think I have a lemon on my hands right now.

Yeah, I love new trucks... but I've been driving my brother's 99' Chevy for the past week now, and its got something like 170K miles on it and it still drives really good, lol.... We're hopin that truck will last quite a bit longer. But, admittedly, I've always loved that generation silverado the most.

the new GMC's are nice

IMO no one can match an American truck...no one. You have to have a lemon on your hands.

Oh, I completely agree that no can match an American truck! But I looked at the tacos because they're built over here... I mean, I know its a Japanese truck, but its pretty good one... but like I said, Im also looking at the silverados.... and I just don't know if I would want another F150 at this point, I'd just be paranoid about it.
