How do I know if I have LS.
Today I power breaked my truck to see if both wheels would spin. I moved the mirrors to watch the wheels. I noticed that the left rear spun and the right rear stayed stationary. I thought the truck drive wheel was the right rear. I am guessing that my truck may have LS. Were can I check to see if I have factory LS.
Look on your rear axle. There is a small little metal tag on it and it will either say LS 55 for limited slip 3.55's or LS 73 for limited slip 3.73's. But it sounds like you dont have limited slip if one of the wheels didn't spin, because my truck will spin both of the back tires and it has the limited slip 3.73's.

Check the axle tag, or check the sticker inside of the driver's door. The sticker will have an axle code, if you post that code on here we can tell you.
If only one tire is spinning, you likely do not have a limited slip. When I go off-roading I come home with dirt/mud on both sides of the truck but my truck has open differentials. An open differential will not always power the same wheel (you mentioned the right), but rather trasmitt power to the path of least resistance. If you have one wheel on ice and another on clear tarmac, the wheel on ice will spin. If you hang a wheel up in the air and have one on the ground, the one in the air will spin (and you will be royally stuck).

The door says H19, and the axle tag has 355 on it but I can't make out most of the tag though. But it sounds like I have a open dif. DAMN.

For all Fords, axle codes beginning with a letter = Limited Slip, axle codes that are just numbers = Open Differential.
