My 1995 F150 4x4 4.9L I6 was getting like 13.5MPG city but I usually pulled near 15MPG since I do a lot of highway driving. But I tell you this, I spent $40 on a K&N Air Filter and am seeing an improvement of over 2MPG

Just hooked myself up with a K&N and looking to add a Superchip once I make sure I earn enough this summer for tuition

92 Ranger 3.0 v-6 5spd got 21 no matter what I did in town, hwy and everywhere.

97 150 4x4 4.6 5spd 17 hwy, about 14-15 in town. Big difference. If you dont need a big truck stick with a little one.

Took a road trip from Seattle to Sacramento and averaged 19.2 mpg with the cruise contol set at 75mph. Loved that power going thru the passes.
