break in period

When I got mine he said to just drive normal and they will be fine. He said he has seen guys go straight from his shop with there 500 hp mustangs to the drag strip and they still have the same gears 2 years later.

( my old man says the same thing tho. We were arguing about it yesterday. He said there is no need for a break in period, just don't go WOT the first hundred miles or so... I was quite surprised, this is an Old School man from way back, who still wont even cross rotate his tires ! To each his own )

Letting it cool for 15 min(ROTFLMAO&PMP) that is a load of sheep dung!!!!!

Try this heat up about 1.5 quart oil the oil in a casted box ( heat box also) then let cool on hot road an see how much the temp drops. You will see not much!
GI you are right. Just another way for ExonMobil to make 40 + bill.
