Switch my 2wd 2007 F150 from 3.55 Open diff to 4.10 LS? Include the price of gears, LS, and labor

 

I'd guess about 1200 to 1600.

 

You might not want to do this, but you could probably get a nice electric locker in the rear for cheaper than the Limited Slip and the locker will perform much better.

 

Yeah that's probably true, but this truck will leave pavement all of 5% of it's life... the LS is much nicer for on road performance... particularly snow. My truck was stuck yesterday with one tire on snow, the other on ice. Needless to say, my roommate pulled me out with his avalanche.
