Ordered on Jan. 6 and it was built on Feb.16 and at the dealer on the Feb.17.
One of the benifits of living about 15min. from the oakville assembly plant.

Great info from the Supercrew section on production time.I tried the VOPC but I dont have the body code for the truck I have on order.It is a 2000 XL Supercab 6.5ft box.Cna anyone help with this??????

 

Spoke to the dealer yesterday and they received a VIN for the truck and the delivery date is Apr24 about 3 weeks early from the original estimate.Cant wait!!

I ordered my 2000 F150 ext cab on Feb 21, 2000 and I picked it up from the dealer on March 27, 2000.

Took us about 4 weeks to get our new '00 ext cab 4x4 lariat.

 

Placed my order on the 23rd of march, already got a VIN. should expect it at the end of april.

my march 1st order is supposedly over 3 months out(end of june).
in response to why order; here in portland oregon, the only 2wd's on dealer lots are stripper work trucks. must be some kind of western macho thing, with not a week of snow/ice per year. when it snows, i'll park the truck and take my fwd taurus out.

i've only seen 3 157" wb F-150's on the road here since '97.
everything else is super-duty, and i don't need the harsh ride.
