Help with rear bumper parts

I was rear ended yesterday, and while my bumper is a little misaligned, I am not too concerned with fixing that part, especially since the trucks sole purpose is a work truck.

The part I do want to find - I have no idea what it is called, so bare with me here.

There is a metal plate that is right above the tow hitch, and below the license plate. It was crushed and now prevents me from stepping on that part of my bumper. I noticed this had happened when a guy from my crew stepped there loading up some material, and the plastic liner gave way and he slipped off. I just want to replace this part so I can step on my number again in that spot.

I have a 2014 V6 STX Crew Cab

Any help, as well as a place where I can order it from is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi charlie's f150,

If you haven't already, I'd recommend checking out the Ford Parts site: http://www.fordparts.com/ You can click on the "Contact Us" link at the top of the page to chat live with our parts folks; they may be able to help you track down the part you need. Additionally, you can always reach out to your local Ford Dealership for assistance.

Crystal

There's a metal structure to the bumper, painted/chrome caps on the ends, and plastic "step pad" that runs across the top of the bumper.

Sounds like you're talking about the actual structure of the bumper

You need the step pad.

Ouch for that guy! I took mine off one time to clean and paint under it to keep any rust from popping up. I didn't reattach it correctly and I did a skip-jump deal to get into the bd and I almost broke my chin.

Exactly. The plastic cover has a crack, but I'm not worried about that. I'm trying to figure out how to load the picture I took.

I need the metal part under the step pad that gives it support. It is hard to tell in these pictures, but its the metal piece between the steel frame and the plastic. Now that I look at it, it looks like its welded onto the frame.

Charlie - I merged the two threads you created on your bumper problem. Please do not create multiple threads on a common subject. It leads to confusion that will waste your time.
