Anyone know the difference between a new body style regular cab 2004 and the 2005-08 regular cabs?

I have a 2004 regular cab f150 that needs a new cab. When looking at listings the 05-08 cabs are listed separately from the 2004 cabs.

 

Should be no difference. They probably don't list it as 04 since there were two different bodies. Helps to ease confusion.

If it was my choice I'd consider doing 09+ cab and ditch those goofy 6" doors

 

Any 2004-2008 will work. They are all the same. 2004's just have a few tiny cosmetic differences that won't matter. Small things like gloss pillars vs matte. Nothing that affects fitment.

 

That list isn't correct. 04 non heritage to 08 are the same. That site lists only 04-07.

I picked up a rollover for $400

picked up an 04 cab for $600 that included front and back glass and the drivers side rear access door, and most of the Iinterior.
