Restore body estimate?

Does anyone know what it might cost to repair my 79 ford cab? Its pretty badly rusted and the floor needs to be replaced. Would i be lookin at a thousand dollar job or several thousand dollar job.

Several thousands. Body shops are expensive, so are parts.

Maybe go by some independent shops and try to solicite a bodyman that might take it on as a side job. Would probably still cost a good chunk of change, but will definitely be less then what a body shop might charge just walking in the door. Be careful though, some shop owners dont like catching wind of the body guy gettin work that could have been run through the shop.

Also you may look into doing as much of the work as you possibly can. You can remove all the interior. The more you can do the less labor they will charge you.

Maybe a trip out here to Cali or Az and buy a whole donor truck and do a cab swap.
