Need bumper opinions

So Monday night my truck was involved in a hit and run and it tore up my front bumper pretty good. To make a long story short, my insurance company is going to pay for it all (with my deductible) to get repaired. Since I've been wanting a Ranch Hand or something similar now seems like the perfect time to do it. I've narrowed it down to two, unless somebody has a better suggestion. They are as follows....sorry I couldn't post pics because I'm doing this from my phone.

check out roadarmor. i know they look sick on all the 3/4 and 1 tons i've seen em on. but of the two you posted, i would go with the second more complete brush guard

here ya go, http://www.roadarmor.com/site/ford/04-08-f150.php

you could always purchase the matching rear bumper later on down the road. good luck with whatever you go with

Those aren't bad either but their price is quite a bit more than I want to spend. IMO they're a little bulky too. Yea, they look real good on the 3/4 and 1 tons because those are bigger trucks.

I've been here long enough to know that there are enough opinionated people hanging around here that I should've had a few more responses by now. If anybody has other suggestions, like posted above, let me here them. If the RH's aren't the best choice then tell me what yall think

I know RanchHand makes nice products, but to me they just don't fit your truck. I don't like the big "lip" look on the first one and the second one just seems too much. I think part of it is also that I get so used to how wide (high to low) the OEM bumper is that with the RanchHand, it looks like something is missing below it. What do you think of this one:

FYI: If you do go with the RanchHand, the second one would be my choice.

Thanks for the suggestion. That's the Frontier replacement IIRC and personally I think it looks waay better than the RH. The biggest thing I don't like about the RH is what you said, they're not tall enough for the front of these trucks. I wasn't looking at the Frontiers because they were priced a lot higher, that site has them at the same price as the RH replacement.

Glad you like it. I haven't really ever researched grill guards so I don't know anything about the different online retailers. But I thought that looked good and I thought it was roughly the same price as the Ranch Hand full replacements.

Oh and by the way, you have a great looking truck. Sorry someone had to smash you up and take off. Thats a shame.

Thanks for the compliment and yea its been a real pain trying to get the insurance company to move a little quicker. BTW, everyone that I've shown the Frontier guard to has liked it a lot better than the RH replacement.

Yeah I've had to deal with insurance a few times and it never goes as fast as we'd like. Glad to hear you're liking that grill guard and getting good feedback on it. When do you think you'll pull the trigger? Make sure to post pics.

Hopefully I'll be able to order this coming week. It all depends on the insurance check. Pics will definitely be posted.

Well I pulled the trigger Friday afternoon on a bumper replacement. It's made by a company called Ranger Offroad and is built very similarly to the Frontier Gear full replacement. Everywhere I called couldn't get a RH or Frontier for atleast 4 weeks. I'll post pics when it comes in and when I get it mounted.

BTW, dallas thats a good looking truck. I've just never really been much of a fan of that style bumper. I've always liked the guard style better. Thanks for the suggestion though. If you PTM the grille surround and the bumper it would look bada$$.

That front end looks pretty slick. I like it. Anxious to see how it looks mounted up. When do you get it?
