Comments Please - Grill Guard

A friend and I have recently built a few grill / brush guards for Super Duty trucks and looking to do something for the F150's.. Would appreciate any thoughts / comments. Our designs are contoured to the front of the truck so as not to project too far. We include a type 3 receiver for mounting a winch, etc. You can see some photos at our site if you like: http://www.timberlinepro-fab.com

Interested in knowing if we are on the right track with our design and any suggestions or thoughts you might have.

Thanks
Dean

Honestly I'm not a big fan. But I'm a little biased. I'm more into sport cars/trucks. There are some really nice looking trucks with grille/brush gaurds but that doesn't look too great to me. but it does have more options to it which is a plus.

I like the way it looks integrated to the truck. Nice design work.

I agree that mounting tabs for lights would be a nice feature, but wouldn't want them "sticking out" if lights weren't going to be installed. Maybe an "L" bracket that could mount on the back side in bossed, pre-tapped holes? (Holes could simply be filled with bolts if brackets are not installed.)

Winch wiring? That's up to the owner, not the push-bar manufacturer.

thats not what im sayin look at the design of the actual bar. There is no where to hide the wires. My suggestion was to design or make a place to hide the wires alittle since the winch just sits out like that.
he asked i said what i thought
