Cheap tint sometimes fades and turns purple in a year. Shops use a very high no fading tint comapred to the crap you buy. Maybe ask them for a sheet of it? Although putting on tint takes time and patience.

The bitch with tint is every dust particle, and everything else shows up when it gets stuck. Working air bubbles out is sometimes difficult. As far as your tint turning purple.... just dont buy junk tint.

I'm sure it has a few mods like the Gotts Mod! It would be fun watching people laugh, as your unloading it for the back of your truck at drag strip, until you kick their *** in bracket racing!

im running full limo tint which is double 5% all around. You cannot see in the back windows at all and the front two are really dark and i also have a strip of 5% on my windshield. Have never been pulled over in this truck but got pulled over in my old s-10 i had double 5% all the way around and had a double 5% cat eye and all the officer made me do was pull the two front windows off. and a 100 dollar ticket.

Lightbulb Window Tint

As much as possible, I try to get tint, if not within tint limit at least close to what is accepted. I got my truck tinted last week, 35% front and back and 25% on the door windows and I'm really impressed with the results. I asked help from www.TintBuyer.com. They provide relevant information about window tints such as its types, quotations, laws involve in every state and will help you find the best professional tinter near your area.

experties, i did my front two windows at 20% for about $14. went to walmart and bought a roll of tint a squeegue and spray bottle and clear nail polish. very easy to do. take 10 minutes and remove the windows from your doors and take em inside to do. its actually very easy to do on these fronts because of the extremely simple shape. mine turned out professional quality if not better when done in maybe two hours. no bubbles or "fading". but even if they fade a hair two years from now it costs me 10 bucks and a few free hours of my own labor to redo them again

I almost fell out of my chair laughing when I saw the Monster Smart! Did any one else notice how light the front it became one time when cresting that little rise? I bet it would be easy to do a back flip in it.

I'm keeping the factory tint on the cab of my screw but I plan on adding mirror film on the back glass of the cap in addition to the factory tint so potential theives can't see inside and be tempted by what they might see (the cap has tool boxes instead of side windows). Since trucks frequently have no rear visibility and depend on side mirrors only, it should be legal.

I'm amazed that there are so many people who flaunt the law and openly discuss how to do so. Granted, there are plenty of laws I don't like (many of which are just plain stupid) but that doesn't give me (or anyone else) the right to break them.

PA's limit of 30% max darkest on front door windows for truck & SUV vehicles, rear windows unlimited. I have 20% all around and never have been hassled in the past two years i've had it. I used to roll the fronts down when near a cop, but the cop in my town knows my truck and waves every time so anymore I just dont bother. He must like it?

I have. Bought my pre-cut kit from Northern Tint & Graphics Co. in 2008 for $49, still looks fantastic. I'm a master with applying decals and graphics so tinting is easy for me.

Only the crap off the self. Buy a Northern Tint & Graphics pre-cut set and know how to work with tint, you'll save alot of money for the same effect. I love my kit, $49 for 20% all around.
