Tool Box with lights

Tool Box with lights

Im looking to buy a tool box for my F150 Crewcab. I also want to add amber/brake lights to the tool box. Im having a hard time finding these kind if lights. Anyone know any kind of lights like this?

are you planning on setting them in the toolbox
(cutting the box and making them flush?)

You can get normal cookie cutter ambers at any Advance Auto / Pep Boys / Autozone.

of course you could always look at something like these too...

So the lights will be on the rear of the tool box facing to the back? I suggest a low profile tool box and no need to accentuate it with lights.

yea i going to put them on the tool box facing the back. I was thinking 4 on the back and maybe 1 on each side. Ill be sure to post pix when its all done, just waiting on finding the lights.

Nice work, Looks a lot better than I was expecting to be honest with you...

Could we get a couple of close up pictures of the Amber and the Red lights?? I'd like to see a night shot as well!!!

Good work though. Possibly a How-To in case anybody else is interested?

I havnt posted my pictures yet, I'm new to the site and havnt figured it out just yet. Will try to have them up today or tomorrow.

ha ha sorry, Clearly I'm not very observant. I thought that the pictures above were of your truck.

In that case, I'm still looking forward to seeing the pictures of your install.
