And yes I know my truck is filthy. I just got the baby a week ago and started taking it apart. I'm getting my new parts (hood, front and back bumpers ) painted and then I'm going to detail the beast... Finally there will be a truck with blackedout bumpers!

It's semi-flat with 5 or 6 clear coats... I think that I'm going to get charcoal inlays... I'm going to put a strip down the side of the truck and do the new decals in charcoal and black.

I sanded with 320 to scuff it up and 1000grit to fine down the scuffs... it seemed to stick pretty well. but who knows, haha, it may flake off in a week... or when I actually decide to wash it...

Cool thanks! I am about to do this as well to my truck. Let me know if you have any flaking or any other issues that you run across! Thanks!
