Looks good man, now you just need to do that to the upper bumper cover and you'll be set!

yeah i thought about that, if i put amorall on the top piece its about the same color as the bottom piece is now so i might just keep doing that instead of trying to take that piece off cause it looks alot harder to get off. but thanks for the compliments. ive been meaning to do this for a while and finally got around to doing it

Tape around the top one, put some newspapers on the areas you don't want painted, and paint the sucker.

Looks much better, I like it

I sprayed mine with Krylon on my old truck also, and just be prepared to repaint it now and again if you to any offroading or the like. Mine started to get chips from rocks, grass/weeds/cornstalks would wear it off, and whenever you hit andthing with the valance and flexed it the paint would crack. It was usually just the lower half or so of the valance so you could just take a can of paint and a newspaper and hold it to cover up the bumper. 3 minutes for a touchup job and its looking good again

yeah im planning a off road trip latter in april. me and my buddy who helped me take it off and paint it,who is also going on the trip, suggested that we just take it off for the trip so that it doesnt get messed up and so that i could put some tow hooks on the front. as for the rest of the time ill just keep a can of spray around for touch ups. thanks for the compliments

thanks patman,it really changes the look of the front end. now i just gota paint the bed rails and that grille except half the screws for the pannel over the radiator are stripped out and i cant figure out how to get the rest off

ordinance-i used to armor all mine all the time but it never got dark enough for me. its a big change and its not hard to do at all. if you want you can spray some clear over to keep it from getting chipped

those plastic screws you actually push very very lightly with a screw driver and back the screw out, if the head itself is stripped out, you can pry it up a little and then cut it off with dykes

push down or up? i tried pushing up but i might have been pushing too hard. i was thinking of just prying them out but i dont want to mess up that pannel or the screws too much. maybe ill just do a ridiculous taping job and spray it on the truck. anybody know a good product to get things like amorall off plastic so i can sand, prime, and paint it?

continously push down very lightly, back them out like a normal screw, they have very small plastic threads on them and if you push too hard then it just jams over the threads and bottoms out again.

try paint thinner to clean
