Decal Removal????

For you guys with the FX2's/FX4's has anyone removed their decals on the side of the bed? I want to take some off of an FX2, and I an unsure of how to accomplish this without messing something up (the cleacoat, or paint).

any help will be much appreciated

thanks

Kurt

Heat It With A Hair Dryer And Just Peel It Off. Any Glue Left Over Use An Adhesive Remover. Should Not Damage Paint Or Clearcoat But You Might Have A Ghost Outline Of The Decal That You Can See In Certain Light.

What he said. I've removed stickers and Decals off of my last 3 trucks like this it works well. Don't have any adhesive cleaner 70% rubbing alchol works just as well. You should be able to polish any ghost outlines out.

Meguires or Mothers cleaner wax works well on the adhesive. Plus it will help remove any ghost outlines, light scratches, and leave a protective wax coating.

I peeled my stickers off without any heat gun.....The truck was probably warm from the sun though.
I didn't have any glue left behind....afterwards it looked like they were never there.
