Yellow F-150?? Please Help!!

I came across a yellow 2002 F-150 for sale. The exterior paint code is W6695 I cannot find out anything about this paint code on the net. Does anyone know if this was an available option on the 2002 F-150 XLT? Is there anything special about this color?
Thanks!

AFAIK, yellow was only available on the BOSS trucks... Not sure what company provided the package, but it was not Ford AFAIK.

An aftermarket company put them together, they also made them in 'Orange' but, I'm sure not as many.

The company was called 'LA West' however, there were no current links when searching. they used to have a website giving all the details.

They musta went under.

They got new trucks from the factory, put their package on it, including paint.
There was no performance parts and it outstickered a Lightning.

I always thought it looked sharp, not so much the Orange.

The problem was it was all show and no go.

If I'm gonna drop 35k I gotta be able to beat up on somebody.
I cannot think of a slower 35 thousand dollar vehicle when those were new off the top of my head.

Indeed, they were a naturally aspirated 5.4... I loved the canary yellow color and the blacked-out hood, but was not a fan of the conversion-van plastic skirting around the lower perimeter of the truck.

lol i had this problem. it's a dupont paint. whatever you do, don't let ANYONE say they can match. PPG tried for 3 days. yea, right now i have 3 different yellows on the truck. i have the complete breakdown of the code if you want it.

and yea, it's a special color. it's what is called a chromobase yellow. look at it one way and it's got an orange tint to it, and then a yellow tint another way. VERY VERY sharp.

and the Boss trucks were originally just made in 2002-2003, but lawest has come back out with them. here is the link: http://www.legendmotorsww.com/

the 02-03 WAS all show n go (lol except mine). the new 2006's though are the ONLY ford trucks supercharged putting out 480hp i believe. let me know if you need anything else

I personally saw one in Ann Arbor MI , and loved them. I'm a big orange fan, and this one was. They are a great package. I would supercharge it, but thaught it was a great idea, kind of a low cost Lightning look.

This is something i want to do with my truck.

I want to make a "boss" package so to speak for my truck.

Black Berry brandy for the paint a boss 429 aftermarket hood scoop fully functional.

Maybe even pull the engine and turn it into a "boss" 302

It's a 91 f-150 302 4x4 short box :P

I love the look of the Boss f-150 very sharp.
