Need new front bumper, are the 1's on E-bay ok??

I just found out... AFTER i got new wheels that my front bumper is bent.

I'm see'n some on E-bay for a reasonable price ($115.00) I know thew stiff ya on shipping ($100) BUT are the bumpers decent?? or will it rust out and all the chrome looks nappy after the 1st winter???

SPECIFIC name brands are:

Pershing- $113.00 w/$55.00 shipping

DragnRocker- $229.00 W/$65.00 shipping

Car Parts Wholesale-$115.00 w/$100. shipping

The dragnRocker says it's tripple dipped in chrome etc, but is f'n expensive compared to the others. The others are too cheap to think they may be as good... just curious if anybody has had personal experience with any of them??

THX!!

If there is a chance you may sell or trade the truck in the next couple years get the cheap one.If you plan to keep the truck for a long time get OEM or the triple plated DragonRocker.

Well further inspection reviels all 3 are mearley E-bay sellers... so I am think'n the dragonrocker guy is just try'n to get more $$ for his stuff.

feedback on the cheapest bumper says as much or more positive than the dragonrocker dude...

so this confuses me all the further

ok the bumpers on e bay are only the bumpers
there is a frame type bracket that goes on the inside
i just had my bumper off this weekend to do a body lift
mine is bent from an accident i got into it is angled down now
look on ebay for just the bumper brackets that go inside the frame they
are about 16$ each you need 2 if your actual bumper isnt bent just sagging like mine you might want to try em first 32$ better than 232$ just my .02

THIS one that dragonrocker is selling is an OEM Ford bumper not aftermarket. That's why it cost quite a bit more than the cheaper knockoffs.I'd buy it,it has a 5 year warranty. If you want aftermarket check your local part stores, maybe they can get you one. Also, have you checked the local junkyards for a good used one?

I was gonna ask what year your truck was to figure out which bumper you need, '97 - '98 hmm, i'd say that triple chromed sounds very trusting, but if it was me & my truck i'd finally have a excuse to get that lightning front bumper
