4x4 Off Road Decals
Someone else may have posted this before but I wanted to enter it in case it helps someone. I got my 1999 150XLT 4x4 without the decals. I bought the decals from the dealer and installed them myself. I had no problem lineing them up but they had lots of bubbles. I panicked and rolled too hard and pricked all the bubbles only to discover the little ones disappeared after a couple days. Now I have too many small holes in them which are only noticable up close. If you do this yourself make sure you only "pop" the big ones and leave the small ones alone. These decals don't remove if you mess up.
But if you do mess up, peeling the stickers off isn't really a big deal. Just start it with your fingernail and peel it off. I peeled mine off after a year or so, i just waxed the area under the decal and now you can't even tell it was there.
Also, after using the soapy water and squeegie them out. You can get those little bubbles to dry of faster with a heat gun, or a hair dryer. Those cause them to shrink slightly and pull nice and tight. Just be careful as to not heat them too much... just a little does it.
