Front Grill Swaps

Is it possible to swap my '97 grill with a 98+ hexagon grill. If so can this be achieved without screwing up the original grill (in case I have to reattach the original grill). I imagine it involves removing a few plastic tabs but im not sure. Also how much work is involved in attaching plastic fender flares to the outer wheel wells of my truck? Does it just involve a few screws on the underside of the bed? Do I have to drill any holes on the outer side panels of my bad for these plastic flares? I imagine these modifications arent that much work but I would like to NOT affect my stock body in the case that I have to return it to its original state. Any help or tips are appreciated, thanks. -Mike

My 97 original grille was plastiwelded all the way around. I had to cut it out, there were no tabs like some say. I think it's just on the 97's. Not sure how you would attach a different factory grille.
