On some Chevrolet trucks I've seen this VERY pretty royal blue colour. Does Ford make anything like that? Also, I have seen some lilac-coloured trucks. Were those just aftermarket mods, or is the paint factory like that?

Ford made a color last year, (I don't know if it is still available for '04 or not) for the Super Duty called Sonic Blue. Take a look at it and see if that is comparable.

 

Sonic Blue sounds familiar, I think I remember looking it up one time. I just looked up the SD's on fordvehicles.com and they don't have anything close to the kinda blue I'm thinking of. I don't like how on their F150 page all they have is the 04 shown. All I see is True Blue and Medium Wedgewood Blue.

 

Is it on newer chevys? If it is its probably Indigoo blue. My unlce had one that color. Dark blue with some sparkle, very nice

 

I just was at chevrolet.com (first timer, I cringed), and seems like the only blue they have is called Arrival Blue Metallic. I think it might be the one I was thinking of.

Could you get a complete 1-colour paint job on your F150? If so how much does it cost?
