i got a cobra 29 night watch tuned and peeked with a 4' firestik mounted in bed by my tool box it works great i think its the best thing for driving on highways and interstates truckers are always saying where the "bears" (state troopers) are theyll tell you what lane and mile marker. i still need to mount the unit better but i havnt found a good spot for it yet. i have it in between the driver seat and the center console for now.

haha! i thought it was a good spot so it doesnt get water inside it.

here is where i mounted the cb. it is a great place. easily accesible and not in the way either. but i have it hardwired now, so that red and black wire is not there anymore.

I have a Cobra 19 LTD classic, stock mic, 4ft RS fiberglass no ground antenna, confederate faceplate, modded to 40 watts, and a pa speaker mounted in the grille. Its stuffed between the driver/passenger front bench seat because there's no where else to mount it. being a standard and the stupid curvy dash board is impossible to mount anything.

my cb is an old one my dad had laying around! i forgot the model number but its a realistic. thing is super old and was laying around forever and still works! and the two other pics are of how i layed the wiring. the wire is black and white. its directly threw to the grommet and to the cb. i wish i cold have put it around the fender, but i didnt have enough wiring for it.

my pa horn in behind the grill to the right of my kc. directly above the blue pliers. its nice and loud there. no engine noise to worry about. now time for an external speaker and ant! i want an ant for off roading. ill have one by pismo, but not sure what i want. i want firestiks but also a whip would be good for now. what do you all think?

these are old pics. so things have changed. like my truck horns are behind the grill, not working at the moment. think the switch isnt grounding out good. and i have some higher then normal car horns too also behind the grill. just hard wired into the horn button. and my bass **** has moved to above the deck and kc light switch is in the center console.
