Good discussion. I have a question,

I have already upgrade my door speakers to Pioneer, but there is just not enough punch. Doing it on the cheap I got a powered Bazooka sub. But it does not appear that I have the wiring harness in the back. How can I get it from the Back of the HU? I have a 2005 but it looks like the same 6 Disk HU.

BTW, I droped in the Aux line adapter for my MP3 and it works great. You can even adjust the gain to get a little more out of the HU.
Thanks

Are you saying you want to hook the bazooka up using the stock audiophile harness? If so, its not gonna happen. You need to run a separate amp wiring for it.

I don't have the audiophile just the standard HU w/6 disc changer. The Bazooka sub has its own amp so all I need is the sub out (and Power) from the HU. I have not found the harnes leading to the back so I assume I have to run the wires, but I was hoping the output was still available from the HU. It sounds like it from this discussion, but there is no wiring information.

Any help would be appreciated,
Ed

My plain Jane XL with basic radio has the sub harness under the floormat behind the driver.

Well, no sub connector in my 05 TX edition. I ended up running high line direct from the ouput the to bazooka. The Bazooka had booth high and low inputs so this was not a problem, just not as clean as using the original. Oh well it works great.
