I perfer solder my self with heat shrink tubing.. You woud have loved to see the install in my old truck ..93 model f 150 .. when I bought it there was an Alpine older unit in it with Alpine speakers ... The method the moron used ( the guy I bought it from ) actually taped all connections together with masking tape.. and no fuse at all ... Some people.. Heck I even saw a guys amp in aa toyota truch that was run with romex house wiring and wire nuts ( that was funny ) He had a 30 amp house breaker inline on the hot wire..

My amps on the other hand are reun with number 8 from the battery with a 75 amp fuse link about 2 inches from the battery post , then to a dual 50 amp fuse block at the rear seat and the number 8 to each amp.. the ground is grounded to a seat bolt with a crimp on soldered bolt lug and my grounds are both 8 inches long.. The sub speaker wire is going to be run with number 8 and the other speaker wires for the front are run with 10 guage monster speaker wire.. Why cant people just take the time and do things right, it's better than burning your vehicle up..
