Make sure your cd player will play mp3s first. If you have win xp use media player and i gives you the option to rip your cds as mp3. I have found it works best. over a few other programs i have for coping music cds. As far as the disk you should be able to to use any kind. You can spend alot or a little on cds. Also make sure you close the cds after you make them because some cd mp3 players wont play a cd if it hasnt been closed. Hope this helps.

I use Nero. Nero actually has a CD burn wizard that automatically converts your files to MP3s and burns them to disc.

Does your radio say "cd6" or "cd6" and "mp3" below it?
