Angry Kenwood 7015 LCD screen

Just curious,
I haven't heard any negative feed back about this unit. However, I finished my install lat week and I must say I am a little disapointed with the LCD screen. I was trying to watch a movie ("The Way of the Gun") and I could barley see anything on the screen. It seemed it was just too dark!! Even after adjusting the color, the screen quality was worse than the $300 indash TV I had before. I dunno its just that for $1000 I expect better quality! Has anyone else had this problem?

Mine was a bit dark with the default settings, I turned the brightness all the way up, that didn't quit do it. I changed the black level and was happy.

Have you tried any of your other adjustments? There are quite a few things you can change that would affect picture quality. It might be time to get out that pesky owners manual.

Sorry to derail the thread here, but I had a quick question before I buy this unit. Has anyone tried playing mp3's that are burned onto a dvd-r? Is this possible on any unit currently available, or is it limited to mp3 burned onto cd-r only? Thanks!

If you have an LCD screen why burn mp3's? Take a step further and burn mp4's

I have heard that the true factory style video doesnt work with aftermarket head units ....not really sure why that would be a big problem but thats what i heard
