Does anyone have this HU...I'm thinking about buying it and would like some feedback. It looks pretty badass to me.

Not sure about the 969 but I know I LOVE my X859.. last years model. Lots of features and reliable. I did run into a problem with scratched CD's.. it doesn't pick up scratched CD's near as well as my old Pioneer unit did.

Other than that.. no complaints.

I'm on my second MASK unit (sold the other one after 4 or 5 years), no problems, and doubt I will ever buy anything else...

Yeah.. this is my second MASK motorized unit.. had the other unit for over a year and never had a problem. I've had this unit for probably 5 or 6 months now.

Just realized that's the same one I've got, TEK. Just wish I had the money for a Music Keg now...

Oh yeah.. the 859 is a great unit. I love mine.. as well as the Keg. SO CONVENIENT!!

EDIT: I just noticed that your volume **** has green lighting around it.. as well as your Aud and Source buttons. All 3 of those on mine are the blue color. Interesting.

I did that... got tired of the contrasting blue. Just used a green sharpie, and plastic yellow/green folder from Wal-Mart...

Oh ok.. that explains it. Turned out pretty well from what I can see.

I kinda like the blue color over the green personally.. but that's just me.

I have just bought this unit (869) and also have the Sony XM radio kit in my house. Does anyone think I could use the auxillary hookup on the HU and put XM in my truck?

Well, you can definately do it with an FM modulator, but you most upper model Kenwoods these days are Sirius ready, meaning they are just a plug and play, very simple, very convenient... That's the way mine is...
