what all do you want to paint? the part around the radio pops off with a little prying, and the piece over the steering wheel does the same thing. im not sure about the rest. paint, plastic primer, some sandpaper(fine), and some clear

the piece arounf the door handles pops off too. if you look around that piece there is a slot, just stick a screwdriver in there and pry gently

Lightbulb be careful

DO NOT for any reason attempt to paint any interior peice without taking it off the truck first ( you will be very sorry if you dont ) As for peices that come off, the center peice around the radio is easy, the door handle are also easy, so are the panels around the window and mirror controls. ( just pull them off, dont be scared they wont break ) The tuffer one is the one that is aound the gauges ( secret screw behind headlight swithes ). Also you can take off the small piece that fits around the bottom of your steering wheel column..it also pulls right off. your fuse cover also if you want will of course come right off...rub the peices down with clean cloths and alcohol. when they seem like you have gotten off all the old interior protectants you can then sand the pieces with a high grain paper. just do it till the texture is smooth... prime it with spray primer ( not too much ) then when its dry give it like 3 coats of whatever interior spray you baught... a little long but that should help you. worked perfect for me..have fun

Im interested in this too. What kind of paint and primer do you use? Im guessing its not just regular spray can paint.

opinion time!!!!

I would only paint those panels listed above (the ones that pop off). This would give a classy look. If you painted all of the interior, it would look tacky.

dupli-color works great... so does good old krylon.... use a green scratch pad and some dish soap to clean the parts... if you feel so inclined you can sand the parts... that's optional... light coat of primer and 3 coats of paint... and a couple coats of clear and you are all done... the pieces talked about are the most common ones to paint... the possibilities are endless... anything you see that you want to paint can be taken off and painted... good luck...

I have one thought about painting the interior pieces ad this is what has kept me from doing it. What happens when your at the point of trying to sell or trade in your truck? Not everyone has the same tastes and I am sure some dealers would try to say you have subtract some of it's value. It would be costly to replace all those parts. IMO, if it's done right it does look " classy" and adds a nice touch.
